Tibet Has a "Resource Corridor"

CHINA, September 17, AsiaPort -- With the help of high tech, China found a resource corridor containing the resource of rich gold, copper, salt lake and antimony in the north of Tibet. With the development to the region, it will become a golden belt of Tibet.

It is estimated that the value of the mine resource is about 6000 billion Yuan, occupied 60% of all Tibet. The resource corridor attracted the concern of many experts.

According to the introduction of Wang Jianping, the vice president of Henan Geography Investigation Academy, the mine resource of the resource corridor is very rich. At present 52 kinds of mine resource and 655 production areas were founded there. At the region, the potential of gold mine is great. It will become the most important gold mind band of Tibet.

Resource Corridor locates at the middle axes of Tibet, has strong radiant ability to the entire region. There is the assembling region of Tibet's people, involved in 19 countries of Ali, Naqu and Changdu.

It is known that the project of resource corridor was organized by Tibet Autonomous Region, and finished by Henan Geography Investigation Academy. What's more, China's scientists proclaimed that a big oil field was founded in Tibet, it may be a big oil field with the reserves about 0.1 billion tons.
