Resources Corridor Identified in North Tibet

BEIJING, November 19. By remote sensing technology, Chinese geologists have discovered a resources corridor in the northern part of Tibet. The corridor abounds in gold, copper and salt lake resources. More than 52 kinds of minerals have been discovered in 655 places in the area.

The potential value of the resources in the corridor is estimated at six trillion yuan, accounting for 60 percent of the regions total reserves. The corridor stretches over 1,800km.
